Pa. Abuede Imafidon was one of the early people to embrace Christianity in Ebudin and hailed from Idimu-Oghale also. Given his Christian background, he abhorred the worship of any form of idles and man-made gods in line with his Christian belief and did not encourage this amongst the people of Ebudin.

One significant incident that took place during the reign of Pa. Abuede was the boundary dispute between the Egoro Community, one of the neighbouring communities, and Ebudin. This dispute led to the refusal of vehicles, owned by the indigenes of Egoro, from coming into Ebudin, even if for commercial reasons. However, following the immediate intervention of the elites of both communities, the dispute was resolved amicably.
